The composition—one against many, the indifferent attitude of the opponent, and the countless tennis balls scattered across the scene—symbolizes the weight carried by a single player who faces the challenges of youth alone.
Although the fate of this shot is not fully decided within the work, I hope that those who witness the moment feel a sense of anticipation and quietly root for the player who continues to struggle on their own.
